Gary Clark Jr. will join The Rolling Stones on stage at The Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY, on 8 December.

Both Mick Jagger and Keith Richards met and performed with Clark at various events in 2012 and have become fans. The honor comes at the end of a great year for Clark. His critically acclaimed album, Blak And Blu, hit #6 on the Billboard album chart.

The New York Times, called Clark “a guitarist of deep magnetism and tremendous feel” while Rolling Stone, the magazine called him “a full-fledged guitar hero of the classic school.”

Following the Brooklyn performance, the Rolling Stones will play two more U.S. shows at Newark’s Prudential Center on 13 and 15 December.
